Project management

A job carried through, not handed off.

Project management at Roovers is how a piece of work moves from the first description to support. It sits with consultancy and with the build.

What this includes

Running the job: who is in the room, what “done” means, and the sequence from discovery to design, deployment, and support. The firm’s own wording for this is seasoned project management beside the digital work, not a separate product catalogue.

Who it is for

Teams that want Roovers to keep the work coherent — whether the job is advice, a system, equipment, hosting, or a mix. It is not a promise to manage projects Roovers is not part of. If that is what you need, say so in the enquiry and the firm can tell you whether it fits.

The problem it addresses

A build that changes shape quietly, a date that slips without a conversation, or a handoff that leaves the people who use the system outside the room. Scope changes are said out loud before the work changes.

How a job proceeds

You describe the job. Roovers shapes a demo or a blueprint where there is a system to see. The quotation follows that. The work then moves through discovery, design, deployment, and support, with the people who will use it included.

What you receive

A scope you have seen, a date given once that scope is clear, and the work carried to that date. The tangible output depends on the service: software, a recommendation, equipment, hosting, or a combination.

What changes the price and the timing

No fee table is published. Price and timing follow the scope, the number of people who need to take part, and whether Roovers is advising, building, supplying equipment, hosting, or doing more than one of those. The date given for that scope is the date the firm keeps.

Questions people ask

Is this only for software Roovers is building?

It is how Roovers runs a job it is responsible for. That job may be consultancy, software, equipment, hosting, or a mix. Ask if you need management of work outside that.

What are the stages?

Discovery, design, deployment, and support. A demo or blueprint comes before the quotation when there is a system to look at.

What if the scope changes?

Roovers says so before the work does. The quoted number is the number the firm stands behind. Quiet additions are not the practice.

The desk is at AVE Maria Building, Bahai Road, Kisaasi, Kampala. Describe the job and Roovers replies with the next step. For software, that next step is a demo before a price.
